The two reference books published by BTCA cover in aggregate more than four hundred manufacturers and/or brands of American blowtorches and related devices.

VINTAGE BLOWTORCHES, An Identification and Rarity Guide, is a 513 page blowtorch reference and rarity guide book, published in 2007 and reprinted in 2012. The book includes an extensive listing of blowtorches, firepots, and other related items that were manufactured in the US and Canada.  It has 513 pages with over 1500 illustrations and photographs, and lists 350+ US and Canadian manufacturers, distributors, and other related company and individual names.  Company names include Clayton & Lambert, Otto Bernz, Turner Brass Works, Lenk, Hauck, P. Wall, Ashton, Detroit Torch, Dominion, Everhot, and Diener.

The companion volume, MORE VINTAGE BLOWTORCHES, published in 2010, contains another 334 pages of reference material.

Included in each both book is a consolidated index to both books with over 3000 references and cross references to blowtorch related names and makers’ catalog numbers. The index includes a five-star rarity rating for most items.… a must for any blowtorch collector.
